Mexican Migration and the U.S. Economic Crisis

Forum 11/22/09: Wayne Cornelius, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at UC San Diego and an Episcopalian, will preview his latest book, to be published in December. Based on more than 1,000 interviews with migrants in a small town in the Mexican state of Yucatán and in southern California, this book is the first fieldwork-based study of how the current U.S. economic crisis has affected flows of Mexican migrants to and from the United States.
